Workshop Description-

My name is Lauren Jones, and I am the founder and creator of Julia's Kiss Gardens and Plants. My mission is to share the joy of gardening with plant enthusiasts who may lack the confidence or support to fully embrace what gardening has to offer. I offer a style of gardening that I like to call indigenous African-American Southern gardening practices, passed down to me from my grandmother, Julia Dixon. While I have a background in insurance, gardening has been in my DNA since I was a little girl, watching my granny nurture her own plot of land on the northeast side of Jacksonville, Florida.

Teacher Bio-

Recently, in 2020, I discovered my talent and the gift that God has blessed me with—the ability to grow and care for plants, ensuring they thrive. Many friends and family have encouraged me to share this knowledge, and I am here to do just that. I am a proud mother, a proud woman, and a proud southerner, eager to support you on your gardening journey. My mantra, which I also remind myself, is this: let me help you repot your plants and, in turn repot your life.
